Times: Currently Monday – Friday, 12 – 2pm (hoping to extend these hours soon).

Further details: Takeaway hot lunch lunch provided usually with meat, halal and vegetarian options, they will also accept donations for clothing and other items at the centre.

Paying Kindness Forward

Location: The end of De Parys Avenue (by the old taxi rank, near to The Broadway)

Times: 5.45 – 6.15pm every Saturday, before SOS Saturday Outreach starts

Further details: Household items, take away food, and someone to friendly to talk to. The food given is cooked but will need to be re-heated at home.

Beddings, coats, jumpers, boots, clothing, kitchen items, decorative items and will take down your ‘needs’ and will try and source the item for you for the next session.

Bedford Langar Project

Times: 1st Sunday of every month at 6pm

Further details: Hot Punjabi style curries with rice, chappattis, salad, cake and custard. 99% of their food is vegan so all will suit all dietary requirements and religious beliefs. They have a refreshement area with tea, coffee, chocolates, biscuits, water etc. They also hand out coats, blankets, scaveds, hygiene packs with soap, shower gel, sweets and feminine hygiene for female clients as well as supporting with school uniform items as and when needed. They do sit a sit down meal but you can also take the food away with you if you prefer.

Gifts bags and toiletries full of everyday necessities for those that need in most in the Bedford Community. Inside bags are wash items like shower wash, shampoo and conditioner, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, deodorant, tissues etc. The charity caters for men, women and children.

Further details:

Vegetarian lentil curry, rice, water, chocolates. When restrictions are lifted they will have a bigger menu. The food is bagged up and ready to take away. We cater for approx 60 people.

Further details: FNM is a place known for good food and good news.  All guests over 18 are welcome to come and have a sit-down hot meal and dessert.  We aim to offer community to those homeless and vulnerably housed and an opportunity to find hope and encouragement.
